Our Story
My wife and I attended a dog show one day with her brother and his girlfriend. We entered Pepper into a contest and I decided to walk her around the showcase area while hundreds of people were watching. As I walked pass my brother-in-law, he pretended as if he didn't know me and asked, "What kind of dog is that?". I answered, it's a Wiener Dog. As he laughed I asked, "you wanna pet my wiener?" And this one lady in particular that heard my comment standing next to him started laughing uncontrollably. It was meant to be a play on words in a fun and humerous manner, and by her reaction it seemed as if I was on to something. So I took that concept and grew it into what we are today, the internets largest supplier of unique and exclusive Dachshund gifts and products for adults, children and the all so adorable doxies, who are the showcase of this site.
Dachshund owners are as unique as their pets. We are equally special and have a loyal following to the Dachshund breed. I hope you enjoy all that we've been able to bring you and we appreciate your support.

Philanthropy
Pets cannot choose their owners and unfortunately there are cruel people that either abandon or harm innocent animals. This is inexcusable and irresponsible, and we would like to do our part to help homeless or injured pets in need.
PetMyWiener.com pledges 5% of all profits earned from sales generated through our site to a shelter helping under-priviledged pets. We are currently reviewing potential caregivers to receive this grant. Once we find one, all pertinent information will be posted on this website so you know who your contribution is helping and pictures of the pets we have helped. In the meantime, a fund will be assigned to this cause and will accumulate until we find a suitable non-profit organization.
