Our custom harnesses and coats were originally developed for the hard to fit breeds that are prone to back problems and IVDD. By using our measuring guide below, our custom clothing fit any breed.

This Coat features two layers of anti-pill fleece for the ultimate in warmth that covers the dog's chest and underside offering the most coverage. This is our warmest coat available.
Our double layer fleece dog coat is custom made to fit your Dog. Don't waste your money on a pre-made coats that are made to fit a variety of different sized Dogs. Our coat is hand-tailored to fit one Dog only - YOURS. Our water-resistant coats offer the BEST FIT possible for your pet.

-- The CoverUp is made from two layers of cozy, anti-pill fleece.
-- Completely covers neck, breastbone and chest...even deep-chested Doxie's and other breeds.
-- Covers most of the underside, leaving enough open room for males.
-- Pulls on easily over the head.
-- Generous girth strap adjusts for slender to robust size Dogs.
-- Velcro® patch on back of coat holds girth strap in place and prevents coat from slipping or sliding out of place.
-- Machine washable & dryable.
The Double Fleece CoverUp™ is designed to work with our popular Mesh or Fabric Harness (and other harnesses). Optional turtleneck and button hole to allow access to a harness D-ring is available. Turtlenecks are roughly 2 1/2 inches long and harness holes are placed about 3" down from the base of the neck if you are attempting to use an after market harness. These can be adjusted if necessary if advised prior to ordering. The turtleneck is an extension of the under-layer fleece material that is used. It is not a separate piece. The material is cut slightly longer in the neck area for coverage.

Double Layer Fleece Cover up dog coat
I have a dauchound that is getting up in age. He likes to sleep under a blanket so i thought it would be nice to get him a coat to keep him warm when he goes outside. I measured him and ordered this coat. When the coat arrived, i tried it on him and it fit perfectly. When i went to take it off him he kept acting like he didn't to take it off. I am very pleased with with this coat and will be ordering more articles from pet my wiener.com in the future.

Double Layer Fleece Coverup
My doxie's original coat was misplaced during moving and I needed another one. After looking at a lot of sites, I found this one and liked the style of the coat. Measuring him was easy and there's a lot of choices for you to pick from. Also many color options to choose from. I recommend you go with the double layer, the extended neck and harness slit. The harness slit is great, it's not some small hole it's about 2 inches wide allowing you to get in there and find the harness loop. It fits great, cover's his belly and gives him enough room to do his business while keeping him warm. I really like it, it's soft and easy to put on. It also looks like it will grow with him a bit should he fatten up, however at 12 I think his fatter years are behind him. It takes all of the 15 days to get and it's worth it so if you can be patient you'll have a coat for your dogs lifetime.

Wonderfully warm. The fit is perfect. I do suggest that the overlaying cross pieces be changed to one layer as they are really bulky on top of the dog's back and really serve no purpose.

Coat
This is the coat my dachshund needed.We moved him from Florida to Colorado and as the saying goes, no bad weather only bad clothes. The fit is perfect, it keeps him (and his belly) warm, and the color is great. It’s not inexpensive but it seems to be made well and I think it will last . We are both very happy with the coat.

Double-layer fleece coat
Excellent coat. It fits my mini-Dachshund Stella perfectly. It is worth the little extra money rather than buying a store bought coat that really doesn't fit well. Because it's double-fleece, it is very warm. Stella is a short-hair and she gets chilled more easily than a longer-haired dog. I'll probably get her another as a spare.

Nice quality!
This coat is perfect my little dog. Being a chiweenie, she has a tiny chihuahua head and neck, and a long dachshund body. It was impossible to find any coats that fit her properly (she needs a coat in the winter because she barely has any fur!). Being able to customize the size on all the different parts of the coat made this a perfect option for us. This coat is an awesome quality, and my dog looks totally fabulous. She has gotten so many compliments. I especially like that it keeps her tummy dry when it's wet out. She likes going out in the winter so much more now that she is actually warm. I highly recommend this coat!
